Building a Stronger Future for Our People and Our Community.

BUILDING A CULTURAL CENTER

A Native American - specifically Shoshone - design of an opening blossom.

Our working goal is to build a Cultural Center that will serve as a gathering place for education, ceremonies, language, arts, and community events, and as a space where the history and living traditions of the original people of the Boise Valley can continue to be shared across generations.

GOALS & OBJECTIVES

  • Create a welcoming space for cultural preservation and education.

  • Strengthen connections between families, elders, youth, and community members.

  • Provide opportunities for language learning, storytelling, and traditional arts.

BUILDING AWARENESS

We are working to build awareness of why this effort matters—not only to preserve history, but to strengthen community connection and ensure that cultural knowledge continues to be shared with future generations.

SUPPORTED BY COMMUNITY

This work is made possible through the support of community members, organizations, and public partners who recognize the importance of preserving the history and presence of the original people of the Boise Valley.

TOGETHER FOR OUR FUTURE

With continued support, the Cultural Center will serve as a lasting place for gathering, learning, and honoring the traditions that connect past, present, and future.
